Meet the Team

Kat Tolentino

Kat Tolentino has been in the Franchise business for over 7 years and is completing her CFE
qualification. Currently heading up the SOS Franchise Division for HMR Group, Kat has successfully
opened four stores and aims to open more in strategic provincial locations.

Kat has a very amicable personality and a determination to ensure the success of every
SOS Partner’s business.

All interested applicants are endorsed to Kat to give an overview on how SOS is a profitable
business for the prospective partner. She loves to conduct meetings over coffee and merienda.
Her philosophy is “work should be fun”, and treats all SOS Partners like family, helping each other
strive for success for our businesses.

Arjon Burdeos

Arjun Burdeos is the Marketing Guru of the team. He has over 12 years of retail experience with
a passion for Marketing and Visual merchandising. Loves to get out and about and thrives during
events making sure things get done to draw customers into the store.

Arjun does not stop until desired results are achieved. He has been an integral part of many store
openings with SOS, HMR Express and HMR Trading Haus stores.

Arbell Macabante

Arbell “Ruvy” Macabante has been working with SOS since 2002 from a Sales/Cashier to managing
the central distribution warehouse and now with the Franchise team. Ruvy has an exceptional
talent for sales and operations and is eager to pass the knowledge on to SOS Franchise Partners.
With 18 years experience with the HMR Group, Ruvy knows the ins and out of the business and
knows how to get things done. All Franchisees have a very good relationship with Ruvy.
She is a great mentor for SOS entrepreneurs.

Arbell “Ruvy” Macabante has been working with SOS since 2002 from a Sales/Cashier to managing the central distribution warehouse and now with the Franchise team. Ruvy has an exceptional talent for sales and operations and is eager to pass the knowledge on to SOS Franchise Partners. With 18 years experience with the HMR Group, Ruvy knows the ins and out of the business and knows how to get things done. All Franchisees have a very good relationship with Ruvy. Rhenzel Eblamo

Rhenzel Eblamo has been with various divisions of the HMR Group for four years with a primary focus on sales. Rhenzel, is the Lead Franchise Coordinator at HMR Reverse Logistics (HRL) warehouse where all distribution of goods takes place. Otherwise known as Central Warehouse is the “bagsakan” of all goods exclusive for Franchisees and Wholesalers.

Rhenzel takes pride in ensuring that our SOS Franchise partners are the first to know on all the New Arrivals and Special Offers. She supervises a team of fellow Franchise Coordinators to ensure that all Franchisees are supplied with their replenishment stocks weekly.

What We Offer

The bulk of SOS products are mainly from the USA and Australia. These surplus products come from any or all of the following sources:

  • Closeouts and Liquidation (New)
  • Overstock or overrun merchandise (New)
  • Shelf pulls – old inventory (New)
  • Discontinued items (New)
  • Open box or floor sample models (Slightly used)
  • Customer returns (Refurbished/Remanufactured)

SOS and HMR stores are the exclusive distributors for:

Eco Habit, Aptus, Schaffen, Loro, Khulen, Golden Sleep, Deli Chef and Gastro Chef are brand new products sold with full warranty,
manufactured to European and US standards. Our private labels are priced to beat any competing brands.

We offer our customers practical products at affordable prices and provide value added services. Every SOS store has trained sales and
technical consultants to assist customers through their shopping experience.
